Right, after much reading and searching, I have finally purchased a Sharp 26GA3E.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can get decent-ish cables for under a tenner ie component to connect dvd to tv, scart for sky to tv and a decent cable to link my video camera to the dvd recorder (S-video).

Also, what is the main difference between RGB & normal Scart?

    Cheers

    Wayne

    TVCables.co.uk

RGB Scart only passes an RGB signal (When RGB is selected) since the Scart is on;y wired for RGB. Other Scarts are Fully Wired and can carry RGB, S-Video, Composite and Audio signals. The though being that the more wire the bigger the chance of interference.

Thanks for that. Component cables, they only deliver picture, correct? What cable would I need to carry the sound?

    Thanks

You will need a standard Phono cable (2 cables, one for left one for right)

Richie, what about coaxial cables to transfer digital audio signals from the dvd?

    Will it make much difference?
