Sharing Pc Drives

Anyone know how to do this in its simplest terms. Cant find a stey by step guide, would love to stream from pc to ps3

right managed to get linux to see the computer but everytime i click on the computer to access files it keeps asking me for username password for workgroup. weird thing is i dont have a username and password set for it.

anyone any ideas please?

All windows shares require a login. You need to use the username and password for the PC assuming you don't have a domain controller.

If your PC has no password then you need to set one - Windows won't allow you to connect to a share with no password.

Make sure you have enabled the Guest account on your PC. I think it might be disabled by default.
