The game allowing Xbox 360 users to play against the keyboard and mouse users (and some gamepads!) of the PC is now accepting applications for beta testing. Anyone under 18 apparently needs a parental consent form printed and signed, judging by the comments over at Majornelson.com
Some requirements:
Sign Up via Major Nelson where he has posted instructions and an Invitation ID.

[EDIT] Once registered at connect.microsoft.com and submitting the first form on the Invitations page, you may encounter the following error with a large red font:
"The system has encountered an unexpected error. We apologize for the inconvenience. The issue will be addressed as quickly as possible."
If you get this, just click on the Invitations link, on the left, again.

Some requirements:
The beta is expected to begin early to mid December 2006 and run through March 2007. Currently we are in the process of gathering names of potential participants. To qualify you need:
· Either an Xbox 360 with a hard drive or a high end PC running Windows Vista. We will be publishing the minimum spec for the PC shortly.
· An Xbox Live Gold account.
· Broadband access.
· Enough time to play from home on a regular basis.
· A willingness to communicate on the beta forums.
