Shadow in background (Passport)

So I got a passport photograph from a studio and there is a very slight shadow behind me, I couldn't see it when it was on the camera but when printed you can see a very slight shadow. I went to the US department of state website and "acceptable" photos there also seem to have slight shadows. I've heard there should be no shadows at all, I don't understand why the state website would have shadows behind acceptable photos if it isn't allowed.
 
It should be okay.
