Has anyone used a setup disk for their plasma to get the 'perfect' settings?
I see there is an Avia home theatre setup disk available, does anyone reccomend this or anything else in that vain?

    Cheers,
    Barrie

Avia only has NTSC screens, you might also want a PAL disc as well. Avia is very good (lots of audio test tones, video test screens with audio commentry)

I'll need to go through it again as I've got a differenent processor.

Avia is excellent and has many useful tests, but is a US disc. There was a magazine that gave away a test disc several years ago, and this has come in handy.

Optimode THX films have test cards included which can help, but see Avia (or Video Essentials) on a guide how to use them. They are, however, to be used as a guide only. If afterwards you want a brighter picture then change it! But after setting up with a test card, it should be very close to your ideal settings.

    All the best,

    Dr John Sim.
