I've just got my hands on a new Sharp LC32DH65E packaged with a Sharp BD HP21S Blu ray player.

I've searched around quite a lot on the forums and elsewhere on the net and there is precious little in the way of suggested settings.

I know that Sharp doesn't exactly have the best reputation on here but I have to say that I am impressed. It is the only set that has blown me away in the shop and I have been very impressed with the picture I have got at home from Blu ray, Sky HD and my Xbox 360. However, I expect there is still a bit more tweaking to be done to get things just right.

So does anybody have any settings that they can recommend? If not for this exact model then could anybody let me know the closest models to this and I can try a 'best fit' approach.

    Many thanks.

Thanks for this, I'll give it a try. I've got my Blu ray setup 1080p dot by dot but xbox is pre-hdmi so having to use component cable and 720p until I get my hand on a new Jasper console.
