Setting up your dish Message

I have an Arris Freesat 500Gb recorder, along with my wide band LNB with 6 outputs - 2 wide band to the Freesat box. 1 to the main TV direct and 1 to bedroom TV direct, plus 2 unused outputs. Every time the Arris box is turned on from a cold start - after being Off overnight etc it comes up with a message "We are setting up your dish. This may take a short while" it can take around 20 to 30 or more seconds before it allows the stations to be viewed. See photo. Yet other identical systems owned by friends come on almost instantly.
Any ideas as to why I get this? And what if anything can I do to stop it?

Power saving mode... 45 secs from full standby to working.

65 kWh per annum (£20 approx) will be the cost for working like your friends' do.
