Will be getting a new sub soon (Velodyne CHT 10). When it comes to set up where do I start my last sub which I owned for 3 years was never set up right. Processor controling centre and rears is a Yamaha DSP E 800. What I want to know is when I take it out of the box how do I start to se it up.

There will no doubt be a manual in the box with the sub telling you how to set it up.

I found the Velodyne manual pretty much useless to be honest.

I thought the look in the manual advice was pretty poor myself, so I'm only looking for someone with a Velodyne CHT 10 for advice on how they set the thing up before I get it.

    Mal,
Wait till you recieve the Velo and I'm sure many folks will chip in (myself included) with advice. Once set up in your system, experimentation is the key.
At the moment, you won't be able to put into action any advice given.
    Regards
    Eric

I understand Eric just a bit cofused about crossover, phase, levels etc after reading lots of people's posts on the Forum. I will wait until it arrives and take it from there.
