either RGB scart or component (or a mix ) Xbox via component is great, as is PS2 (no idea about a PS3 tho)

Try Lik-Sang.com - they do an X box component lead with digital optical audio cable - costs about £8 ! I think overall to import from Hong Kong costs £12. Shouls solve the problem of wanting your cake and eating it (5.1 _+ component) :rotfl:
I just got an email saying mine was dispatched. Dont know how it performs but if you search the threads you should find the poster that put me onto them - I think it is on the cables forum.
By the way - be careful about what you post - the moderators may ban industrial spies  I assume you must be one if you have a PS 3 in your possession

If your component input on your plasma is free, then the best would be to use an official Hi-Def pack (online) from lik-sang:
    http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=83&products_id=1742&

There is a cheaper version, available in a bundle from ToyzRUs and Ebay, but no-one has done a comparison with the official one yet, so for a few extra squids i'd get the official one, as the Gamester (3rd Party) one was not upto the job.

If you've no component input on your screen, use the M$ Advanced pack (available from shops), which utilises scart, this costs about the same as the Hi-Def pack, arond £15-£20.

Don't forget your optical lead for the 5.1!!

    Hope this helps...

Gaz - which 'third party one' is the gamester ? I have order a lead from Lik Sang (3rd party comp + optical) as a result of previous posts. It has been shipped now so itis too late I suppose - but is this the one you are referring to ?
