Hi there - I'd really appreciate advice on how best to set up my new MA's (8i/10i/fxi) on the Denon 3802 amp please. I don't have a sub, so I'm thinking:

FL and FR set to large.
    Not sure about the FC.
Rears (only one pair) set to small - dipole configuration?

Also, how easy is it to have the silver fxi's fixed quite high up on the wall but angled downwards? The fixings look like they'll only work for fixing flush to the wall. Would the sound rubbish if too high up?

    All advice gratefully received, thanks.

    Adele.

Yes, FL & FR to large.

Try the FC small at first, then try large and see which you prefer (I suspect small will work best, but you never know...).

If have fxi mounted quite high, fixed flush, and they sound fine. I tried dipole and bipole and stuck with what I preferred, and to be honest I can't remember which it is - LOL!)

    Cheers,
    Liam
