I ran the auto-setup to setup/test all the speakers, this seems fine but when playing movies my sub volume is very low and I need to crank up the volume to -26db before I hear anything from the other speakers.

I'm using the Canton CD1 and have an optical connection to the Denon 2910 are there any other settings I need to make to increase the volume or does anyone have any tips for getting the maximum performance out of the 2805?

    Cheers

The only thing you can do is get an SPL meter and measure the levels using the amps test tone and make sure they are 75 db. Otherwise the amp is set correctly and you are now moving into the area of personal taste.
