    Hi all,

I have an EX750 with an external HDD attached for watching media files. Currently when i want to transfer anything to the HDD i have to disconnect it from the TV and connect it to my PC then once i've transferred the files i then reconnect it to the TV.

What i'm wanting to do is just be able to transfer the files over my home network from my PC to the HDD whilst it is still connected to the TV.

On my PC i can see the TV and the connected HDD under "Network Locations" but if i try and copy anything over to the HDD i just get an access denied message saying it's read only.

I know when initially setting up my Raspberry Pi i had to set it's external HDD to be "world read/writable" so as to copy files to it over the network but is this something that can be set with the TV?

    Cheers.
