Setanta multiroom

Standard Member
My pal has a sky+ downstairs and a sky box upstairs. He is subscribed to sky sports and setanta. Downstairs he gets both but upstairs he only gets sky sports and not setanta. Is that correct or should he be getting setanta upstairs as well? If he takes the card out from downstairs box and puts it in the upstairs one, setanta works.

Cheers for any help clearing this up.

AFAIK multiroom only applies to sky subbed channels (sky channels and those resold by sky).

Sadly, yes, Setanta is not part of Sky so not in Multiroom.

You can get a reduced price multiroom sub from Setanta. It is not cheap but cheaper than a second subscription.

Because Setanta is a third party channel, as the previous posters have said, it's not included in the multi room. Not something they readily advertise as I unfortuanetly found out. It's an extra £7.50 to get Setanta on your second box.

Setanta multiroom is now £5pm per card - with no minimum contract.
