Setanta Joining Fee

Hi,
I wanted to get Setanta card to plug into my Samsung R87 TV slot. (In time for tonight's football!)

I was going to buy a regular card, but couldn't collect one of those from the store (Currys). The chap on the phone pointed to >this<. It comes with a regular Setanta card which wil fit straight into my TV. And also 3 months free (+ Joining Fee payable)

Which is £5 cheaper than a card on its own, and comes with the card, and more free months, so I can throw away the freeview box or ebay it as I don't need one.

However, my question is more around the Setanta subscription. Can you stop and start your subscription from a few months with it, cancel it for a few months (when nothing on I want), then reactivate it without having to pay a joining fee again?

Thanks.

Do a search through these forums and you'll find that it's not the easiest thing in the world to cancel a Setanta subscription - there are some real horror stories, so beware.

Cheers,

Martin.
