I borrowed the title (Session 9) from my sister and watched it last night. I had never heard of it until then, and was not excatly aware of what sort of movie this was. Well in an age of boardroom film making, I was quite impressed with this tight, character driven little psychological tale. The fact that it was a real insane asylum and a lot of the history mentioned in the film is true, made things even more creepier. The ending may or may not surprise you, depending on how much of a fan your our of this sort of material. The inclusion of deleted scenes and an alternative ending also put an interesting slant on things. A good example of relevenat extras and not just padding. My only complaint is that the Canadian disc I was watching only had a 2 channel English track, yet the French was 5.1 I recommend this film and would be interested to see what other peoples comments on it are.
