I have read in a number of posts about the so-called 'hidden' service menu option on TV's.

Quite simply I would like to see what's in it and what I can do......and yes I will be careful !!!!

I have the Panasonic TX-36PF10 any ideas on how to get in to it ?

    Anyone

    ?

    I asked too soon.

I have managed to locate this manual for this TV and I have downloaded the official service manual.

Well, after reading through this very technical document - page 7 of 49 covers the service manual.

Now I understand horizontal and vertical alignment adjustments, but I'm lost on all the others like:-
    V/amplitude and H/amplitude,
EW amplitude, trapezium-comp, Horizontal-Vertical, Vertical Linearity

    ??
Is there a document that covers what the hell these things are ?

Anyway, how would you know if anything needs adjusting ? I have the DVD platinum thingy DVD that does various test, but I presume that's just in conjuction with the DVD player - what about the picture sources from the satelite, video, and terestrial channels, surely they then may be different ???

    Hi

Does any one know how to get into the Sony KV32FX60 service menu?. As I need to degauss the screen, after accidentally moving an unshielded speaker near to the screen.
