Am looking to buy a 42 x10, and after the review it had i was wondering if getting into the service menu invalidates the warranty(how would someone know that you had).

They won't know you've been in the service menu unless you enter it, mess things up and can't reverse the damage.

Doing the latter will invalidate your warranty, so enter at your own risk.
