Is there any region 2 edition equivalent to the region 1 box set: "The man with no name", that includes the triology directed by Sergio Leone and starred by Clint Eastwood? Where is it sold online?

It'd certainly be nice to see all Leone's films on Blu-ray Disc.

They're the films for which the format was made.

I concur. I would especially like to get Once upon a time in the west on high-def. The opening scene is glorious, the movie its self is cinematic heaven.

    Top post.

Literacy standards of the AV Forums have just progressed.

    Innit.

If you've got the money this is the way to get the first two http://www.amazon.de/Die-Dollar-Hol...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216025170&sr=1-1 The German issues lose the photo gallery and DTS but have the original mono soundtracks, the German Dollars More is a different restoration with better picture quality and the beating scene runs a bit longer. Good Bad Ugly is fractionally better on R1 as it has a nice box with postcards and the Italian soundtrack.

I wish someone would release the 170 minute Once Upon A Time In The West, only available on a shockingly bad Italian DVD without English sound or subs

I would seriously consider lopping off a toe or two to have this on Blu-ray.
