Hey all, just wondering if anyone has had the same story as me. I had a launch console which died out of warranty. I had to pay E120 to have it repaired. It had a problem and was sent back again. The package arrived back from Microsoft today with what i think is a new console. The sticker was over the drive and also had the sticker over the infa red sensor for the remote. Do you think that it is a new console because i also bought a new console a month ago that is very loud and am thiking of selling off the one i bought last month and keeping the returned one.

Do you think that i can register the returned console and get a years waranty from it or will they have kept a record so that i cant register it and get the warranty.

    Thanks in advance.

So you think that there is a years warranty from when i register it?
I might not take the chance. If i wasn't covered and had to pay to have it repaired again i would be ******

from what i understand, you only get 3 months worth of warranty on a returned/replaced/repaired console.
but what you can do now,is buy the extended warranty,so you will get cover for another 2 years.
which would be cheaper than another repair, and you could send it off, every other week.
