Is there any chance of movement on the price? I'd probably looking at around £180 posted?

Unfortunately not. I bought them for £200 from Amazon in the lightening sale, but I can't justify keeping them, so I haven't even opened the box and I can just return them to Amazon. They're £233 on Amazon now which is still a really good price if you'd prefer to go direct.

They come up for £160 here sometimes if you want to save some cash and get second hand.

Yeah, I saw that but had promised myself that I wouldn't but any more headphones/amps/dacs until after Can Jam in July. Regretting it a bit now.

Do you ever get into London?

Well I should be in London for CanJam :D

Not planning to go there now though. There might be some inexpensive post option, I haven't looked.

RMSD is probably the best option given the value. I think it'd be £11 for the size/weight.

Yeah - it came without being double boxed, weighing 1.4kg. Double boxing would make it 1.65kg. Not very big though.

    Let me have a think.

I was going to up my offer to £200 posted, but that doesn't make sense for you seeing as you can return them to Amazon for free.

At £211 for me, I'd be saving £20 but have no direct recourse on the warranty if the worst should happen.

Or I could let you return them and see if they pop up on Amazon Warehouse!;)

Yep, you could contact me and I'd have to sort out a return in the case of failure and email you the return details, but direct is nicer.

I don't think they would, as I haven't opened them.

    Hi @Triggaaar

I've had a think overnight and have decided that I'll probably buy direct from Amazon.

I just wanted to say thanks for conversing with me in your sale thread. I'll buy you a beer at Can Jam:smashin:

    GLWS.

Cool. What amp are you using and have you tried the 600 and 650?

    Thanks :)

Not got much for at home to be honest!

I have a Cayin i5 for portable duties and have just picked up a Fulla 2 for at home to tide me over.

My plan is to have a good few auditions at CanJam and then make my final decisions. I'm going for the 600's over the 650's because most of the comparison's I've read infer they are slightly more neutral. It'll be handy to have a pair of either to be honest because virtually every review I see compares Headphone X with one or the other of them!

I really like what they are doing at Schiit so am going to get a listen on the Jotunheim hopefully, and pair that with their Bifrost or Gungnir multibit. Depending on my bonus from work in April I might go Ragnarok/Yggdrasil.

Not sure where I might end up with cans though. I'm planning on having a listen to HD800's, Ether Flow and Focal Elear. If I can find somebody with a pair I'd love to hear the Audio Zenith PMx2, but I don't think that there's many of them out in the wild unfortunately. I'm nervous about having a listen to the Focal Utopia in case they turn into must have's, but will anyway!
