Sennheiser HD 650 or HD 598 and what is the best portable Amp for them?

im planning to buy HD650 or/and HD598 for me and for my friend, but i wonder if it really worth paying $359.17 to get HD650 instate of HD598 $212.03 ?? "amazon price"

i was planning to buy new sound card for my PC Xonar Essence STX

what do you think about this sound card?

i was also planning to get portable AMP for my portable devices such as mob phone , Nintendo DS,PSP,etc, FiiO E11 is the best choice? im looking for high quality + battery powered.


i want to use the headphones for : PC games, Movies.

STX would be the bare min for HD650, but they deserve something better.

Portable amps and players and 650s = huge mismatch. They're not designed for lower end devices.

On top of that the 650 is overkill for games and movies. Plenty of cheaper and easier to drive phones will do that just as well. Only benefit of getting the 650 is for music.

598 more like 600 than 650

i much prefer 600 to 650, better headphones for music in my opinion.
