    Hi guys,
I use 'Mail' on my iMac and think it is a good programme, however sometimes when i send photos people can not save them.....why?

I send normally by highlighting in iphoto and then clicking email. I have got a PC at work and never have a problem however both my mother in law and father are unable to save the photos on their PC's.

Is it possible to just attach the file without the 'mail' opening and showing the pic, that way they could just save attachment as apposed to viewing the picture in the email.
    Cheers
    D

Sadly its a limitation of Mail it always displays the images. Instead of exporting from iPhoto you can just select the photos you want and drag them onto the Mail icon in the Dock or onto Mail if its open, at the bottom of the Mail window you'll have an option to send as small/medium/large ie. Mail will handle the resizing for you.

Recipients should be able to right click and "save as".
