Question Semi passive psu's

Hi

I'm in the process of building another HTPC and I've been looking for a semi passive psu to power it. Can anyone recommend a good fully modular one? My specs will be as follows:

I3 6100
8gb DDR4
Nvidia 1030 (possible upgrade to 1050ti Kalmx if light gaming is required)
Up to 4 hdds and 1 ssd

Which PSU form factor do you need?

Unless this is a windowed case or sitting very close to your ear then it's unlikely to be worth going modular or semi-passive. Most PSU fans are very quiet at the sort of loads you're talking about.

The build will be going into SilverStone SST-GD10B. Apparently the required specs are:

Standard PS2(ATX)
220mm maximum, 180mm recommended

Thanks for the response. I'm just slightly torn between whether I should go semi passive or passive for both the PSU and the graphics card as my HTPC is going where the draw would go on a Ikea Besta TV stand (this one BESTÅ TV bench Lappviken/sindvik black-brown clear glass 180x40x48 cm - IKEA). As the room isn't massive, I'm just looking to minimise noise as much as possible, but want to avoid overheating.

I went for a Corsair RM550x in the end and I'm really happy with it.
