Ok i'm very happy with my LG 32LX2R, especially with Xbox 360 and HDTV sources from the PC.

I've also owned a Denon 1920 for a couple of weeks which has very nice picture quality. However it also has the very slight issue with lip sync (on the LG anyway) that can be a touch annoying.

I've now got TheaterTek running on my PC, along with FFDShow, and DVDs now look just as good as the Denon (to my eyes anyway). And no lip sync issues! So i'm tempted to sell the 1920 now and just use the PC + Xbox360 for the time being.

The £200 odd I could get for the Denon could sure help cover the cost of silencing my PC! :D
Am I an idiot to do this?

Depends if you're happy with your PC's interface compared with the 1920's remote. You'll also be able to gain some PQ by driving your screen at its native resolution rather than have it re-scale the output from the 1920.

If it was down to me the lip sync issues would have driven me insane, thus the choice would be a no brainer. Definitely get the computer silenced though ;)

how have you connected the 32LX2R to the 1920? I have it connected from the Denon HDMI to the DVI port on the LG and the picture quality is great at 720p (with good movie transfers) not so good with component and bloody awful through scart.

If you do have it working HDMI - HDMI I would be interested in knowing your firmware versions on the LG.

    I'm using HDMI-DVI yes.
Firmware is 1.24 on the Denon, and 3.60/3.70 on the LG.

HDMI-HDMI produces sparklies, but HDMI-DVI is fine.

There is huge demand for the 1920, as I've tried twice to order one from different suppliers, and they can't guarantee a delivery date due to massive back orders and low supply.

Hence I went for the Oppo, which I should be getting this week...

If you're after selling your Denon, you should easily make £200 on eBay at the moment......
