I don't know what to do people. Currently I have a HD5, but the thing is one of my mates is willing to buy it for £100 cash. Should I sell it or not??

I'm thinking that £100 is a pretty good price for an HD5, and with that money it would help me buy a new model later on in the future.

But on the other hand, the HD5 is serving me well. The battery life is awesome and it does what it says on the tin. I'm just a bit bored with its looks and its menus etc. I want something new....

I dunno what to do. Should I sell it and invest for a better mp3 player in the near future or should I just keep it?

My advise would be - if you are happy with it then keep it, don't change just for the sake of it :)

£100 is an ok price. There are a few for sale on eBay at the moment.

I suspect, if you sell it and buy a new one, you'll think to yourself "you know, the HD5 actually looked alright, I wish I hadn't sold it..."

You'd get more than GBP 100 on ebay too, if it's in good nick I'd reckon in the region of 130-150.

I sold my hd5 2 months ago for my ipod and now I've been thinking about it more and more. I bet if I get it back now that will be the one I keep:) Sometimes one has to go through a process like this to appreciate something that's really good. My advise: focus more on getting good music onto the player, rather than looking for a new one that does the same thing.

Considering its considerable robustness and satisfying heft when holding it, the HD5 would make a remarkably good throwing weapon in a crisis.

I always thought the NW HD3 was a much better looking player than the HD5 with its multitude of buttons.

Its crossed my mind to consider selling off the HD3 for the latest MP3 wizzbang but common sense has prevailed and i'm keeping hold of the HD3 as it still looks great and sounds great. Why change
