I've just self installed a second HD box in the conservatory (somewhere I can hide from the wife). Install went fine, eventually managed to explain to Sky that I wanted a second viewing card for my multi-room but I didn't want a second HD subscription yet.

Should I still get all of the Sky+ functionality on my multi-room box even though I haven't taken a second HD sub (I subscribe to everything except Sports)?
