If anyone out there requires the above manual in pdf format (898kb) I can quite happily pass it on. I believe it is similar to other Seleco models also? Just give me a shout (I know there are others avail on this site but in larger formats!)

Hi, Unfortunately I am currently away with work and won't be returning home until at least 27th may. However, if you were to send a private message to the above member, atrade, he may be able to send you a copy as I have already passed on the pdf version of the manual to him? I will be able to send you a copy of the manual on my return home if he can't help you out?

    sorry

Page 30 in the manual 'installation type' set this first to how you want to use it.
Then page 54 'setting of deflection connectors'
With the PJ switched off, swap the connectors to install type used 'these are colour coded' it's just a case of swapping them over.

Thats unfortunately what happens when you change the install type, the convergence is knocked out.
I'm guessing you have never done this before?

Where abouts in the country do you live?

I had mine ceiling mounted, but when I sold it to my friend for his dance studio I had to set it up as a desk top installation which required a full set up, which once mastered is not that difficult. I learn't to do this myself so it can't be that hard.

Unfortunatly I live several hours away, and Like the engineer said, once moved it requires setting up again, so you really could do with it being set up in it's final position to get the best picture possible.

    The three steps are:
    1. Lens focus. 'page 51'
    2. Centering of the tubes. 'page 52'
    3. Convergence.

If you take your time you will gain confidence, and it will all start to click and make sense.

    Lets look at 'lens focus'
Blank two of the three lenses of with their blank caps, display the cross hatch pattern 'p37' their are two nuts per lens tube, nut A adjusts the border, and nut B the center. All your trying to achieve here is the sharpest colour focus possible, this like all the settings is best performed in a dark room.
Carry this out for all there lens tubes.

Do you think you want to have a go, or?

    Hi.
Just been in touch with my mate who's got my old 350, he has the manual which I have the sequence of convergence written down in, this sequence was given to me by the company 'OWL' when they traded.
I shall, all being well post them tomorrow on this thread for you.
It's a shame I didn't live closer, but it would be about a day in traveling, and it can take a good few hours to set up if done properly.
