    would any body now what the ideal settings for contrast ,brightness, colour,etc and what is peaking?also colour temp ,is the factory setting 6500k the ideal setting,,,,,cheers graham

    The front panel controls should be set corrrectly with a test disc of some sort in the first instance. Use the THX optimisor patterns or invest in Video Essentials or AVIA Guide to Home Theater. Using someone elses settings would be useless.

    6500k is the correct temp to use. It may not be accurate though.

    Peaking is their word for Sharpness. It should, generally, be turned way down.....
