    Hi all

Having just sourced a couple of great occasional-use watches here on AVForums I am looking for a day-to-day wearer and have decided on a Seiko dive.

So, I would love to hear from anyone who would let a Seiko dive watch go for a reasonable price. Ideally, I would like a Sumo but others considered, it must though be an automatic so not kinetic. I would also prefer a "Made in Japan" watch.

A bit of a long shot but thought I would ask here before I ponied-up for a new watch.

    Thanks for looking.

    Gary

    Yes ....and?
It's also a 'yachting' watch but thought I would offer it up anyway as you just never know, is that a problem?

    Hi owen021173

Sorry for the delayed response, it has been a crazy, busy day. Anyway, thanks for putting up the Velatura watch. I think though that I would definitely want an automatic and prefer the dive style; something a bit more like the Seiko Sumo.

Many thanks again for responding though.

    Best wishes

    Gary

    Hi mxer

Have looked at the Sea Urchin but can only find it in K not J version from a place that I want to buy from. I suspect I will end up with a Sumo.

    Thanks for the steer though.

I'm after a sumo black or orange too. I would highly recommend the the new SRP Turtle (especially the PADI version if you can find stock).

Thanks for getting in touch nicke20.

No, I had not looked at Creation.

I have just acquired some great watches here on AVF and have just got a HUGE repair bill for a vintage Longines watch so was reluctant to buy new. I am though obsessing about this so to save me from further time-wasting/headaches I think I will just purchase a Sumo new tomorrow.

Thanks to all for getting in touch and for the advice.
