First off sorry if this is in he wrong section but I couldnt find any that matched.

I'm looking to buy a projector and would like to see some in action to see what the quality is like and how light effects the image.

Is there any good places to Visit on Glasgow or Edinburgh?
Its cheaper to buy online but I was looking to see what they are like and try to work out viewing distances.

Cheers
Chris

Sevenoaks in the Grassmarket in Edinburgh are worth a visit.

I bought my Infocus IN78 there, highly recommend a visit...

Also...

James Morrow (Edinburgh)- http://http://www.james-morrow.com/

Loud & Clear (Edinburgh & Glasgow) - http://http://www.loud-clear.co.uk/

The Home Cinema Centre (Edinburgh) - http://http://www.thehomecinemacentre.co.uk/

Hi-Fi Corner (Edinburgh & Glasgow) - http://http://www.hificorner.co.uk/

Buying on line is fine but most dealers will come and go on the price plus there's the back-up, a shop can offer someone to talk to face to face rather than down a phone line if things go wrong.

Hope this helps, have fun with with your demo's...:)

I disagree. Online/distance sellers are much better nowadays. I bought my PJ from IVOJO and the back up service has been better than anything I have had from Sevenoaks in Glasgow and Loud and Clear put together. Price isn't everything but dealers are very protective about their prices citing back up service that makes the buy a better buy

Speak to all the dealers and see what you think, I would suggest a projector like the Sanyo Z5 at the moment, its great value for money! Also remember that if you know of a projector you just want to buy some retailers will match the online price (or get very close) just to get the business
