secoundhand denon a1 or a new 3910

    witch of the above 2 do you think would be a better match for a denon avc-a1sr amp , connect by component to a tosh rear projection tv

    If you plan to use HDMI then 3910 for sure, as the pic is stunning. its component is very very good but not the best.

    Also depends if the A1 you plan to get is reliable, as they did suffer from freezing which the 3910 does not.

    I had the A11 but prefer the 3910 for its HDMI output.
    and very nice SACD output

    I think that if you want analogue output video then the A1 has to be the choice; this was probably one of the best analogue video output DVD players made. If you want digital ouput then go for the 3910.
