I watch French Analogue Sat channels in Secam as well as normal
PAL broadcasts. I also have prerecorded SECAM videos.

I need a new TV and was going to buy a Tosh 32Z23B, when I noticed one retailer said it has SECAM playback via a SCART. I spoke to Toshiba and they said it would do this. However, just before I purchased it, I double checked and somebody else from Tosh Technical said it didn't support it even though the manual mentions it. Apparently the manual doubles for the 32Z23g model not sold in the UK.

I read somewhere that the Sony 32FX68 has the SECAM capability and the 'What Widescreen TV' magazine appears to support this in its buyin info section. Can anybody confirm this set supports SECAM ?

Found a number for Sony, who have told me that the FX68 (and all the other Sony TVs) are multistandard on playback (via Scart) but that the tuner is not.

    Not perfect but acceptable.
