Ok .....I know I'm probably in the wrong section but hey...
I am converting my garage to a home cinema...got all the kit etc...but what do you guys use as seating.
The garage aint that wide and I don't want to clutter it up.
2 seats probably aren't enough, 4 may look too much
    What do you all use?

    Hi Chris,

Was in the same boat as yourself - room only about 9ft wide, but I really wanted four seats.

I managed to get genuine cinema seats from a guy in Croydon.

Just (tried) posted some piccies in the DIY section if you want to take a look.

    All the best

Your room looks excellent by the way, modesty obviously precludes you from posting a pic here so I'll do it for you ;) [IMG]

Cinema seats are very unconfortable especially if you are going to use your home theater more often. Many design consideration used in the large cinemas are dictated by the commercial requirement of these establishments.
After a long search I have found this 2 seats that offer best comfort for more frequent use:
    1. [IMG]W. Schillig Easy
    2. [IMG]Stokke Peel
Both chairs offer very comfortable seating with adjustable head rest and good back support.

I personally favour W. Shillig Easy chairs. They come as 1,2, or 3 seaters and are adjustable from compete upright position to complete horisontal. Unfortunatelly for me the length of the back rest is a bit short for my height so I opted for Stokke Peel.

I just bought a couple of 'fatsacs' - that's not a mis-print! Came across them on holiday in cornwall where they make them. Basically like beanbags but full of foam & I promise you the most comfortable thing ever - my wife is fed up with me falling asleep on them. They squish into the available shape (corners etc.).
