Is anyone watching season 8 via the Sky app?
I'm watching it on the PS$ and the image is way too dark (both ep1 & 2)
I have to put my TV in 'Dynamic mode' with the brightness turned up to max to see any detail.

Same on now tv.

An AV answer as well.

Why did last night’s ‘Game of Thrones’ look so bad? Here comes the science! – TechCrunch

Something to note, bluray will be better, streaming is bad.

Something to note for the next physical media argument.

As i've previously watched all seasons on blu ray then i'm probably used to it in the highest quality although i wactched s7 on Sky as well and that was nevr 'too dark'.

I don't know why a lot of the complaints are just referring to the battle of Winterfell as too dark when it's actually been every episode and every scene so far in s8.
I've had to put ny TV in Dynamic mode and whack the brigtness and contrast up to 100%. Looks very unnatural but at least i can see a picture

I downloaded episode 3 because the recorded content was so bad. I've got a professionally calibrated LG OLEDE6V, I almost couldn't bear to watch it, the colour blocking was so bad. The download was a little better, but not much. Considering the size of the audience for this show I am deeply disappointed in the quality of the video.

edit: Not using the Sky app, this is straight off Sky Q, sorry for mini-hijack
