With the change from 4 to 3 leagues, we've decided to consolidate the positions from last season. This season should see promotions/relegations. :smashin:

Good stuff....catch you online soon. :)

    Never! :lesson:

I finished bottom of the league last year with 0 (yes, zero) wins. Anything is progress.

I've been giving Corinithians a run-out in offline tournaments....I think it's safe to say fat Ronaldo will be very limited in terms of appearances this season.

The final kick in the nuts for him came when the (usually wide of the mark) FIFA commentary decided to say "they've got some weight to their attack here".

That was a depressing couple of games to say the least, seemed like every time I went forward I got countered and conceded so ended up having to hoof the ball long and hack you down.

Dunno what you were doing in the tactics settings but it worked a treat!

You played better in the second game, I was lucky to turn the game around with a goal just before half-time.

The first game, I set the team to Attacking along with a mixture of the Pressing/Possession tactic. The second game I set the tactics to Counter-Attack.

Whilst I didn't mind I'd be careful of going around butchering players as it is a pretty low tactic, not something that's normally done in these leagues. I can understand if you're frustrated....just be careful.

I wouldn't go as far as saying butchering (the red card was a joke imo) but fair enough.

Well, to be fair, you were trying to foul my players throughoput the second half of both games. ;)

The red card was for a foul tackle from behind so you could understand why the ref gave it. :)

In my defense I was trying to get the ball at least 50% of the time.

Come on, in the middle of the park and with about five defenders in between your player and goal? :rotfl:

Joking aside though I do think that is one area where they could improve the game. It was a yellow for sure but a straight red is a bit silly and the refs give them all the time in this version.

Anyway I will try and be on again tonight and will leave my Stoke/Bolton tactics behind this time.

You know a tackle from behind is a straight red wherever you are on the field of play right? It's the laws of the game!

I know it's the "law!" but in practice it's rarely if ever applied and what with Fifa being a sim and all I think it would be better if they made it more realistic in that respect.

    Just my opinion of course.

Just played two games against Scanz....

Won the first 4-0 (although it could have been any score tbh - very open game).

Lost the second 0-5...that'll teach me to change from my usual formation then going to 3 at the back whilst on all-out attack chasing the game.

    Well played mate. :smashin:

I did wonder what happened in the second game . I mean i know i should have had myself a couple of goals in the first game, but you still deserved to win that one.

Still, not bad for my second and third games with the team :smashin:

Good games and well played mate

I played one game against Arctic Enemy which froze midway through the 2nd half (at 0-0). We have been awarded a point each however I have offered to play a game against AE outside of the league and manually adjust the table.

Sorry to jump in but I thought results stood regardless of lag / disconnects and we couldn't replay games?

I played arctic enemy but second game the game froze with about 25 mins to go. I was only 1-0 up at the time and still time for it to have finished in a draw or defeat so don't know if result should stand. Well played guys good games, I lost 1 out of the games I played tonight that was becaus I couldn't finish including missing 2 open golals :(
I also won game I was maybe fortunate to win so even outs I guess.

    Okay then, draw it is.

Arctic Enemy - apologies mate, I was just trying to promote a fair and just outcome to our game.

Well played sdb123 I was gutted lol. 2-0 up inside 20 mims then you pull a goal back thought good game but then the ref gave you a penalty. I didn't slide tackle, your player didn't fall over I got the ball it was shocking decision lol.
You scored a 3rd goal in 90th miniute from a corner I think I blocked it but rebound came straight to you :(
Second game the 2nd goal you scored your striker beat my defender to the ball despite my defender being next to the ball and your striker 2 or 3 yards away.

Third goal I clear the ball but just summed the 2 games up I clear it and goes to your player and you did a great finish when little things go against me it winds you up at times :D well played you had most possession etc just winds me up when little things kept going against me then I started missplacing passes and not putting it where I wanted because I was wound up lol.
