    Went to Blackpool the other weekend with the Nikon D40 & 18~55mm VR. Not as much to photo as I thought but here's a couple I liked.

    Personally I'd crop areas from the right hand side on both photos.

    If you plan to visit Blackpool again, I'd go in September when the Firework Championships are held every Friday night.
    At other times I'd say to shot sunsets from the beach including the Piers and Ferris Wheel.
    And maybe visit the Zoo.

    I like the 2nd one. It's a nice one.

    I agree with the crop idea though. A bit too much empty space :D

    The 2nd one is the best its a nice enough photo as mentioned cropped the empty space to the right though :smashin:
    Im not too sure about the Tower photo myself think its the angle and the scaffolding doesn't help i took a similar angle there other week yet straight on with the tower world sign at base of photo but with loads clouds about it at the time it just didnt work for my photo so i scrapped it :rolleyes:
