    Hi.

Yesterday, my wife dropped her trusty T610 down the loo at work (thankfuly before she'd done anything) :)

When she got home last night, I stripped the covers off it, mopped up what water I cpuld see with tissue, blew it with an air duster and put it in the airing cupboard overnight.

I've just re-assembled it and bingo, it works

Just thought I'd share that good news!!

    Cheers,

    Simon

Phones should survive water immersion IF you don't turn them on straight away and basically do what you did (Good call, by the way). It's the turning them on that fries them. The amount of people I get in to me in work saying that they turned them on and they worked fine at first then died is astounding. Water + Electronics = Bad.

The funny thing was that my wife did turn it off / on and get a picture on the screen. Luckily, no harm done, particularly as I just fitted a genuine red housing to it!!

    Cheers,

    Simon
