I have recently purchased an iScan HD+ which I have connected to my JVC HV-36P38 CRT HDTV.
As a source I'm currently using a Sony 730 DVD player and my HTPC (only for HDTV clips as is too noisy even beeing a very quiet one).
I would like to know if an SDI moded DVD player togheter with the iScan SDI add-in will give me an increase in PQ that will justify the extra spend and if the answer is yes, which player to use (cheapest possible, CUE free).
The JVC doesn't have HDCP so HDMI/DVI+HDCP players are a no go.
    Cheers,
