I've seen a fair few threads regarding SDI mods on sky+ boxes.

Can this mod be carried out on a normal digibox (mines a grundig)?

Also what would be the best way to connect such a digibox to a pio 435xde?

    Cheers

    Hi Dean

The Sky+ boxes as shown on our site are the only boxes that can be SDI modified. To connect to your Pioneer, you would either need a standalone video processor, such as a Crystalio, Lumagen, IScan or Cinemateq, with an SDI interface, or you would use a PC with a SweetSpot SDI card fitted.
Either of these solutions would then give you the best Sky viewing experience available, the PC option allowing you to do all sorts of extra things, but the standalone video processor delivering a simpler setup.

Re your Grundig then we can probably help 'dispose' of that :) drop us a line if you need more information.

    regards
