do you think this would be a good upgrade
£699.00 from leconcepts(with pal prog scan , main reason for upgrade)
connected to tosh rear projection tv by componet and using a denon a1-sr amp
or would a denon 3910 be a better match?

    I don't have first hand experience. I have a SD-900E and read a review of a PAL-progressive SD-9500, which was highly enthousiastic.
Please look for more information somewhere else in this forum under SD-9500.

I have an SD-9500, but have no experience of the SD900E so can't compare them. The PAL progressive on the 9500 is excellent though and seeing as I paid £1,600 for mine (two years ago), £700 looks like a bargain to me for a machine of this quality.
