    Hi,
I'm sure I've seen these adaptors before, but now I can't seem to find any this side of the pond....
    Any ideas please...
I'm looking for a CF type I shaped adaptor that will take a SD card.
    Thanks.

Thanks for that pinatubo, it would do the job, but I was looking for something slightly "neater", as I only need it for SD.

There were some SD- CF adapters on ebay a while ago - will see if i can find them again..... About £15 if i remember. Really tidy, so you could use SD in a normal CF slot.

That's CF type II only I'm afraid - don't think that'll work for shoehorn

Well yes.... but I've got an Archos AV4100 and it has a CF Type I slot... my camera is SD... so when I'm on holiday I want to transfer my pictures to the Archos so I can re-use the card(s).... It saves me having to decide there and then which pictures I want to keep....
I was looking for a tidy solution, but it looks like I'll be heading down pinatubo's suggestion, I don't suppose it makes any odds really... so long as I can transfer the pictures....
    Thanks for everyone's help.....
It a brilliant product by the way (the Archos) - even the Mrs rates it highly!!!

Were you watching QVC by any chance last week-end ?,it was featured then .
I bought my son the AV400 for Xmas together with the card reader I mentioned in my earlier post. I also had to buy an xD to Smartmedia adapter as well since his mju410 takes xD cards and he wanted the ability to copy all memory card contents on to his Archos.

Incidentally, the SD/MMC to compact flash adapter I purchased for use with my own Archos Multimedia Jukebox 20 won't fit into the AV400 CF slot as it is a Type 11 adapter -a bit of a pain if you ask me.
