SD-210E fault: won't switch on. Any tips to fix?

Our SD-210E DVD player immediately switches off once the on switch is depressed. Can't find any online help. Any suggestions please?

That was my very first dvd player over 10 years ago... You've got one that still works?
Just put that baby to rest, it's done its job and you can pick up a dvd player for almost nothing these days.
