Scuff marks

    Got the extended ROTK for Xmas.
    Disc one has a 'scuff' mark on it. This isn't a scratch, as such, but it cannot be removed by buffing the disc.
    This doesn't appear to affect playback.
    Is this mark 'invisible' to the laser, perhaps?
    Yes, I should send it back but if it doesn't affect playback then what's the point (Internet gift from 'sendit', not shop, so extra hassle).

    If it plays with no problems then I would keep it.

    I've noticed with a lot of new discs that there seems to be like somekind of, well I don't know, something like a mist of dirt under the layer protection. You can't do nothing with it, but what it is I don't know. Sound anything like that? If you get my point.
