Who here has been keeping track.

So far the season has been quite good, I cant get used to dorians beard though.

Season 8 Episode 8 is latest and it was quite funny, this was my favorite moment in this episode.

Its in the cafeteria when perry and cox was sitting together.

Kelso: Hey Dorian Perry and I are like brothers now.
Cox: Bob, hes not gonna take that well.
    JD: Throws a fit

    LOL loved this moment.

Anyone else want to hear full songs from ted and the peons ???

Thought I'd bump this with the finale airing in the US tonight. Let's get some Scrubs discussion going guys!

I've been a huge supporter of the series for about seven years now, and I can't believe it's ending tonight. Season 5-7, admittedly, were weak points, but season 8 has been relatively strong so far and it's looking like Scrubs will go out with a bang. As far as TV comedies go, I'd say that Scrubs has always been the most consistently real. Not so much in the plots, but in how the characters relationships have evolved and in the way they've communicated with each other.

For me Scrubs was at it's strongest between seasons 1 & 3, however I love almost every episode of the show (even the mediocre ones). It's gotten to the point were I've seen every episode so many times that they've all gelled together to become one massive lump of awesome. I can't see faults in the show anymore (unless I try really hard). :D

    Favourite episodes/seasons guys/gals?

    Yeah it's good fun.

I also liked Spin City, which Bill Lawrence created too. Most of the actors from Spin City have had guest roles in Scrubs over the years.

Yeah, some of my favourite guest appearances have come from the Spin City cast. Probably the funniest of the appearances coming from Richard Kind as the massive hypochondriac Harvery Corman. Although I think the best guest appearance would have to be a tie between Michael J. Fox and Brendan Fraser.

While we're on guest appearances, I think it's a real shame that they never made the Hugh Jackman/Dr. Cox confrontation happen.

I just watched the final episode and I can honestly say that it was everything I hoped it would be. I won't spoil it for anyone that's waiting for the UK airing, but the ending was just perfect. They hit some classic jokes, brought in some great guests, and wrapped everything up better than I thought possible.

Definitely going to miss Scrubs a lot. :(

I have tried in the past to watch some episodes of this show because it gets such high praise, but I just can not stomach Zak Braff for longer than 5 seconds. I'm not sure why but he annoys me beyond belief!

He is a TV version of Adam Sandler for me. Sorry for not really contributing anything.

Just watched the last series and season finale and I must say it was superb. I have been a fan of Scrubs since S1 and for me I havent really noticed a dip, always really enjoyed it!

The final 10 mins was hard work though, always hate it when a programme I have watched and loved for years ends! Very well done though!

Oh wow. Just watched the final ever episode. I think it's hard to bring such a great program into one whole epic conclusion of an episode.

Scrubs, I will miss you! :(

It's now looking likely that Scrubs will be renewed for a ninth season. The plan is to centre the show around the interns introduced in season 8, with the original cast making periodical appearances throughout the season. :suicide:

I love Scrubs, so I'm willing to see how this turns out before judging it, but this just sounds like they're asking for trouble. I don't know, I trust Bill Lawrence to write a good script, but it seems like taking the original cast out and replacing them with background characters is destined to fail. We'll see...

^ Yep this is gonna fail, and I hope it does to be honest. Scrubs went out on a high and lets leave it at that. And not drag it out to sub par / mediocre level like SG Seasons 9-10.

It's official, and I'm not sure what to think:

IGN: Scrubs Renewed for Season 9

I will say that the prospect of Turk losing both JD AND Carla scares the hell out of me.

That doesn't sound very promising at all especially as the season 8 finale was most satisfying.

IGN: Scrubs: Huge Changes in Store

Phew, I think I can breath easy now. Centering the show around Cox & Turk is a good move, but it's the new setting that is vital. Bill Lawrence is a smart man.
