I have played a little with the Panasonics screensaver and the options in there.

One thing that i really don't understand what it does is the "Peak Limit".

It was set ON and i turned it OFF, what i noticed was that the picture got alot more punch and much more vibrant and nicer.

What does it do? as it surely have an impact on the picture quality overall.

I believe it sets a maximum (peak) light output for the plasma and therefore will make bright scenes less bright. It may seem a little stupid to have this picture setting in the screen saver menu but I suppose producing less light lets your plasma last longer, hence, screen saver!

Ok, i have found the answer and everyone says it should be switched off as it surpress the white peak level otherwise.

Now i got brilliant white text and the picture is sharp with it set to OFF.
