I am looking for a screen with perforations in it so I can place my speakers behind it. Ideally I was looking for something about 7-8ft wide.

I have seen a couple but they all seem to be THX quality and cost a few grand and I don't have that type of cash at the mo.

I was thinking of something for a couple of hundred £200-£500. any ideas please???

    thanks

    Perforated screen material is expensive.
You will be lucky to find a screen at that price point.
Bear in mind that you can get Moire patterning with perforated screens and fixed panel projectors, both DLP, LCD and even D-ILA projectors.

ok, then that looks like it's a non starter then.

I am new to all this HC stuff, and it's a bit more complicated than I ever imagined it to be.

    thanks anyway.

thanks for you help, but I think with the amount that I'll have to spend on a screen, I can buy a new plasma tv and move my centre speaker down lower in the wall.

problem solved and saved myself a couple of grand on a screen.
