    Hi all
I have recently fixed my Motorola V3's front lcd screen glass cover which was cracked and the two lcd screens are now both blank. I removed the front cover and the pulled the broken glass off and put the new glass on as instructed on the net. The phone still rings (altho with a different ringtone than i had before) and can dial out. One thing I am worried about is that I removed the broken glass with the edge of a metal screwdriver and then read afterward that i should have used a plastic adge. Could I have electrostatically damaged the circuitry? I have checked the ribbon connections best i can and they seem fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Doug

for both to not work it looks like you may have caught something with the screwdriver, if you havent damaged the ribbon then you will need complete lcd set - about £20
