I've got a 7200. I'm confused about screen size. E.g what would be the best setting for Gladiator from the following choices?
    16:9
    Letterbox
    Natural wide
If anyone can provide a simple explanation of formats that would be great.
    Cheers

Andy, you should set your DVD player to 16:9 and select 16:9 on the 7200.
The letterbox setting is for a 4:3 letterboxed picture, it will chop off the top and bottom black bars and stretches the picture horizontally to fill the 16:9 screen.
The natural wide setting is for displaying full screen 4:3 on a 16:9 screen, it leaves the centre of the picture virtually unaltered and applies a pogressive stretch (distortion) towards the sides. I never use the natural wide setting.

Try pausing a DVD, take a few visual reference points, then swap between them. The differences should soon become obvious. In my experience 16:9 is the only setting that doesn't chop bits off or distort...PJ
