I'm starting to get all the bits for my dedicated room, it's going to be 15ft long and my seating position will be 10ft from the screen. I was thinking along the lines of a 6ft screen, would this look ok.

That would look fine, something between 6 and 7 foot would suit a 10 foot seating position. Anything over 7 foot will be too big.

I think I would get a 10 foot screen as it is bigger.

I disagree, a bigger screen is obviously bigger, but a smaller screen is also smaller, which obviously has it's advantages/disadvantages.

I think the problem is that if you only get a smaller screen and then later you want a bigger one, the only solution is to stretch it, which creates wrinkles.

A much better idea is to get a larger one and paint the edges with removable black paint. If you want it bigger then you can remove the paint.

Alternatively if you need to constantly change the size of the screen, you could use four black cloths stapled to it instead.

I think I'll go with a 7ft Screen, I will cut out some cardboard and stick it to thew wall to get some idea what size it will look like.

I really don't want ot be moving my head from side to side int order to keep up with action. That's why I always closer to the back when visiting the cinema.

From the second paragraph are we safe to assume that you are mainly watching porn??

    If so I recommend a 10ft screen or even a 12ft one.
