    Hi Jeff,

What I am looking for is a fixed screen, with a size of 6'6" wide in the wide screen format as for budget not sure, I would like to get the best out of my Domino, so presume this might cost, perhaps £300 + would this be considered cheap :D

I am open to suggestions perhaps fabric only

Sim2 UK do an excellent range of screens both manual, fixed frame and electric including some tab tensioned models at very competitive prices.

Drop me an email and I will send you some pricing.

    hi steve
i use an ellie fixedscreen 90inch i believe it is 1.2 gain use with my domino 30 .looks like paddling poolplastic but does the job admirably ..did look at some stewart screens and although they were better than my solution. For approx £ 1000 extra in myopinion is not worthit.. solutions depend on the type of screen you want ..tab tensioned ,transparent are big bucks ..
    cheers

I'll be mounting my Da-lite tab tensioned screen this week with any luck. I can't remember the name of the material but I'm pretty sure it has 1.3 gain. I might be wrong but I think Da-lite screens were being recommended on the Sim2 website message board a while ago but I've not looked recently.I'll let you know the details and results in a few days.

We use an, electric Vutec Vuflex Pro (1.3 IIRC) screen ... it is stunning and feels slightly thicker than the da-lite screens. I would say it is probably on a par with the da-lite screens I have seen being demo'd with SIM2 products, so just an alternative option I guess. Must say I have seen a Stewark FireHawk screen used, and couldn't perceive much improvement myself for the cash difference (maybe I need my eyes retested?)

My Da-lite screen (tensioned cosmopolitan electorol, cinemavision material)looks amazing compared to all the previous budget screens I've had but then it does cost about 10 times as much new! However, I've managed to damage it within 5 minutes of mounting it so I too am now interested to know what everyone else is using before I buy yet another screen!
